    Site monitoring equipment

siteRSM : pdf product sheet

The siteRSM remote monitoring system provides field personnel with the insight needed to determine if there is a problem with the radio site. The siteRSM has been specifically designed to accommodate low power requirements and backhaul technologies typically found with mountain top sites. If the operational status of your wireless network is important to you, then siteRSM with siteVIEW Enterprise is what you need to make "informed" decisions.

Standard options include Ethernet interface and Input expansion.

The siteRSM is available in a 19” rack, 1U and 2U. Click here to see larger photos.

NEXEDGE

siteRSM - Kenwood NEXEDGE® :

The siteRSM interfaced with the Kenwood NEXEDGE® portable and mobile NX series of radios provides a very effective method to backhaul the data. The NEXEDGE® radios come with the capability to send serial data via the Kenwood transparent mode protocol to a central computer that is running siteVIEW Enterprise 2.0 monitoring and control software. The TASC siteRSM combined with the Kenwood NEXEDGE® series radios provides a robust and cost-effective solution for remote monitoring applications.

TASC Systems has simplified the integration by documenting the connectivity and parameters for interfacing the siteRSM and NEXEDGE® radios.

sitePORTAL Lite : pdf product sheet

The sitePORTAL Lite is designed to address the network management issues that wireless telecommunication system operators face as the level and sophistication of “multi-vendor” communication equipment progresses. Under growing demands to consolidate and reduce costs, the task of efficiently monitoring all equipment from a centralized monitoring location has been placed on network management teams. The sitePORTAL Lite provides a universal method for retrieving status information across all active components.

ALM

Antenna/Line Monitor : pdf product sheet

The TASC Antenna/Line Monitor is a precision VSWR monitoring device used for measuring and monitoring the integrity of an antenna. The device provides highly accurate measurements in real time with forward power levels up to 500 Watts average power regardless of the modulation scheme deployed. The device can be connected to any existing radio system for immediate reliable monitoring. The device is built utilizing a unique, patented, proprietary airline multi-section dual directional coupler that provides low insertion loss and low passive intermodulation levels.

BPS

Bi-directional Power Sensor : pdf product sheet

The TASC Bi-directional Power Sensor is a precision tool for measuring and monitoring forward and reflected power. The BPS is the most precise measurement device of its type currently available with broadband capability. The device can be connected to any existing radio system for immediate, reliable monitoring.

Sensors : pdf product sheet

TASC Systems launches a range of sensors that provide easy connectivity and setup. User manuals have been developed for each sensor that include wiring diagrams and siteVIEW 2.0 software setup, providing a turn-key solution that is supported by TASC Systems.

    Management Software

siteVIEW Enterprise 2.0  : pdf product sheet

siteVIEW Enterprise is the interface software used to monitor and control networks of TASC Systems’ siteCOMMANDER and siteRSM hardware.

siteVIEW Enterprise gathers data from a network of siteCOMMANDERs and siteRSMs and presents it to the operator through a customizable graphical view of each site being monitored. Using the flexible client-server architecture, the data can be easily accessed by one or multiple operators. This allows each operator to monitor, control and be alerted to alarms from multiple locations across various systems.

siteWRX : pdf product sheet

siteWRX is a powerful software management tool that continuously communicates with remote sitePORTAL Lite unit(s) for alarm reporting and ongoing event logging by means of a modem(s) and/or IP through the servers COM Port(s) and/or ethernet interface. A pool of modems and/or IP is used to provide the ability for simultaneous communication to multiple remote modules. Alarm information is gathered by siteWRX from the sitePORTAL Lite modules resulting in SNMP traps being generated and sent to the Network Operations Control Centre (NOCC).
